Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your purchase and use of products from SoundLikeSunday, operated by Emanuel Chereji, Einzelunternehmen, Hofmannsthalweg 20, 4030 Linz, Austria.

1. THE PRODUCT

The Sunday Sound Playbook is a digital book delivered as a PDF file. The PDF is sent to the email address provided at checkout immediately after payment is confirmed.

2. PURCHASE AND PAYMENT

By completing checkout, you enter into a binding contract to purchase The Sunday Sound Playbook at the price displayed at the time of order.

Payment is processed through Shopify Payments and, where applicable, Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.

Prices are quoted in US dollars. As we operate under the Austrian Kleinunternehmerregelung (§6 Abs. 1 Z 27 UStG), no VAT is charged.

3. DELIVERY

The PDF is delivered to the email address you provide at checkout immediately and automatically after payment is confirmed.

If you do not receive the email within 30 minutes, please check your spam, promotions, or junk folder and then contact info@soundlikesunday.com.

There is no physical shipment. There are no shipping costs.

4. LICENSE TO USE THE PDF

When you purchase The Sunday Sound Playbook, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-resellable license to use the PDF for your personal or single-church use.

Specifically, you may:

• Read the PDF on any of your personal devices
• Print one or more copies for your personal use
• Quote brief excerpts (under 200 words) for non-commercial purposes with attribution to “The Sunday Sound Playbook”

You may not:

• Share, forward, upload, or otherwise distribute the PDF or its contents to third parties
• Resell or sublicense the PDF or any portion of it
• Reproduce the PDF in full or in substantial part for any commercial purpose
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the PDF without written permission

The license is granted to a single buyer for use within a single household or a single church team. Multi-user licenses for churches and ministry teams may be offered separately.

5. TEAM AND CHURCH LICENSES

Where offered, multi-user licenses authorize use by the number of users specified at the time of purchase within a single church, ministry, or organization.

Each named user must have their own licensed copy. Sharing a single copy among more users than the license permits constitutes a breach of these terms.

6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REFUNDS

Please refer to our separate Refund Policy.

By completing checkout and confirming the consent checkbox, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital product and acknowledge that your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under §11 FAGG expires upon commencement of download.

Our voluntary 30-day refund guarantee applies independently.

7. NATURE OF THE CONTENT — NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

The Sunday Sound Playbook provides general educational guidance for church sound volunteers, audio team members, and ministry leaders.

It does not constitute professional engineering, legal, financial, safety, or other regulated professional advice.

Every church, room, team, and technical setup is different. Results depend on circumstances beyond the publisher’s control. Apply judgment and verify settings before use in live environments.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by Austrian law, the publisher’s liability for any claim arising from your purchase or use of The Sunday Sound Playbook is limited to the purchase price paid.

We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for damages caused by gross negligence or intent, or for personal injury, where such limitation would be unlawful under Austrian or EU law.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content contained in The Sunday Sound Playbook, including but not limited to text, layouts, workflows, checklists, templates, frameworks, examples, and instructional materials, is the intellectual property of Emanuel Chereji and is protected under Austrian copyright law.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time.

The version of the Terms of Service in force at the time of your purchase governs your contract. Future updates apply only to future purchases.

11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms are governed by Austrian law.

For consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of the consumer’s country of residence remain unaffected.

The competent court for disputes is the court at the seller’s registered address, to the extent permitted by law.

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Consumers in Austria may also contact the Internet Ombudsmann at www.ombudsmann.at.

We are not obliged to participate in arbitration proceedings before a consumer dispute resolution body and generally do not do so.
